A Bad Day With Runny Nose

It's already been quite a while since my last Rhinitis attack, and I almost forgot how bad it could be. Been having blocked/runny nose for almost the entire day yesterday, and even at night! I kept waking up almost every hour, tossing and turning, occasionally grabbing a piece of Kleenex to wipe my nose.

Taking a Fedac tablet before I slept didn't seem to help. Luckily, it was already ok by this morning. Not going to see a doctor since I already have a private stash of Flu and cold medicine that I've accumulated from the numerous visits to doctors. Now, I just skip the step of seeing doctors and pop a pill when the symptoms come. Some common medicine that doctors prescribe and what they are for:

Piriton i.e. Chlorpheniramine (antihistamine)
Relieves red, itchy, watery eyes; sneezing; and runny nose caused by allergies, hay fever, and the common cold.

Fedac i.e. pseudoephedrine and triprolidine (decongestant + antihistamine)
Relieves itchy, watery eyes; sneezing; and runny or stuffy nose caused by hay fever, allergies, and the common cold.

Loratadine (antihistamine)
Used to temporarily relieve the symptoms of hay fever (allergy to pollen, dust, or other substances in the air) and other allergies. These symptoms include sneezing, runny nose, and itchy eyes, nose, or throat. The specialist gave me a hundred plus of these in the past!

What is a histamine?
A substance in the body that causes allergic symptoms.
